The individual lodges are centred around the main lodge which houses a private cinema, meeting facilities, Indochine Restaurant and a state of the art spa and gym.
There are ten unique lodges at Delaire Graff Lodge, each with its own private heated pool, modern creature comforts and butler service but what really sells this as a top destination are the magnificent views found all over the Estate.
An exceptional art collection, that reveals itself as you make your way through the main Lodge and guest lodges, was personally selected by Delaire Graff’s owner Laurence Graff, the Chairman and founder of Graff Diamonds International.
While it is a centre of exceptional art, exquisite design, soul restoring spa therapies, gastronomic excellence and superb wines, it is the location that ties it all together, into the perfect five-star vacation destination.
The Delaire Graff Restaurant invites guests to dine on the terrace under a canopy of pin oak trees or eat indoors where they can appreciate the beautiful interiors designed by interior architect and decorator David Collins. The food is a fresh and approachable “bistro chic” and the kitchen is overseen by Executive Chef Christiaan Campbell who has a vibrant and distinctive style.
Indochine presents modern Asian-inspired cuisine with a contemporary flair made from locally sourced organic farms and the Estates own greenhouse under the watchful eye of Head Chef Jonathan Heath.
The Spa at Delaire Graff has four treatment suites, a hair care studio and additional relaxation and fitness areas, and is focused on providing a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Swiss Perfection and Aromatherapy Associates products are used during treatments in the well-equipped Spa suites and guests can enjoy hydro-massage baths and have the option of private terraces for open-air treatments. The Spa at the Delaire Graff Estate enjoys additional exclusivity as it is the only spa in Africa to offer the Swiss Perfection range of anti-aging treatments.
Wake in the morning and fold back the shutter doors to reveal rolling, vine-covered hills, expansive blue heavens, and majestic mountain peaks. The bedroom’s clean pallet of white walls and Egyptian cotton bed linens complimented by the dark wood furnishings draws your focus where it should be – outside.
All lodges feature double volume ceilings with exposed timber trusses and custom designed furniture. Their positioning was carefully planned to ensure that maximum advantage was taken of the surrounding vistas, some of which extend all the way to Cape Point and Table Mountain.
The eight Deluxe and Luxury Lodges are 80m2 and guests will enjoy the private heated infinity pool and Butler’s Kitchen for those who wish to self-cater.
The Presidential Lodge is 130m2 and has two bedrooms and a private 35m2 pool.
The Owner’s Lodge is also 130m2 and has a log fireplace and a 37m2 heated pool.
Each of the ten, perfectly designed lodges is equipped with LED flat screen televisions, iPod docking stations, wireless internet and Jo Malone bathroom amenities.
